SFI Livelihood Skills Training Program

Today, July 14, 2023, SFI successfully organized another skills training program at Tagumpay Barangay Hall in Pola, Oriental Mindoro. A group of twenty-five (25) SFI clients from Barangay Tagumpay participated in the training, focusing on the use of banana and coconut-based products.

During the event, Mr. Crisostomo Mateo, a highly regarded TESDA-accredited trainer, generously shared his expertise to the clients/members. He guided them in creating a variety of products, including chips, ketchup, patties, and cakes using bananas, as well as baking buko pie made from coconut.

In attendance from SFI were SPM Manager and Pinamalayan Branch Manager & Account Officers. The event was further graced by the presence of SFI's Chairman, Fr. Jim, who demonstrated his unwavering support for the training program.

With these dedicated efforts, SFI continues to empower its clients by giving them valuable skills and knowledge that will help them improve their lives.
